Kenneth J. Lockamy

Kenny is an original member of the MSL team. His responsibilities include providing routine facilities consulting services to hospitals in North and South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. He prepares hospitals for The Joint Commission accreditation process in the Environment of Care, including Statement of Conditions review and preparation and assists in compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. He can provide compliance assistance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and perform environmental monitoring surveys to ensure that staff is at low risk from hazardous chemical exposures.

Prior to joining MSL, Kenny had 12 years of facilities consulting experience with Premier, Inc.,
ensuring that member hospitals were compliant with federal (OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, CDC, etc.), state, and local regulatory agencies (fire marshal, emergency preparedness, etc.); and that they follow guidelines set by other applicable agencies and professional associations (NFPA, ANSI, etc.).

Lockamy is a Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and holds memberships in the North Carolina Hospital Engineers Association, Inc., and the National Fire Protection Association.
