Monica Stone joined MSL in 2022 and serves as a Senior Consultant. She has worked in the healthcare industry for over 40 years. Her background includes developing systematic processes to optimize overall organizational results, clinical quality/patient safety, regulatory readiness, high reliability/clinical risk management, performance and process improvement, and performance excellence (Baldridge).

Monica is currently the President and CEO of an independent consulting firm focusing on helping organizations to optimize outcomes through customized approaches based on proven, evidenced-based practices related to organization quality, performance and process improvement, and achieving desired results.

Monica has served as Vice President responsible for quality, patient safety, and related areas for two Midwest hospital systems. In addition, she is a Fellow of the Advisory Board Company. She is committed to assisting organizations in optimizing performance and accelerating the journey toward performance excellence through incorporation of evidence-based approaches, high reliability principles, and the Baldridge Excellence Framework into business practices.

Monica received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing Science from Webster University College of Nursing, a Master of Business Administration in Management from the University of Illinois – Chicago, and a Master of Science in Nursing Science (Nursing Administration) from the University of Illinois - Chicago.
